UHV TRANSPORTER DEVICES
The VF-169 Series has been the “workhorse” of the long stroke feedthroughs for over 40 years. Designed as a low cost option for visual positioning, it is not intended for applications requiring very controlled or precise movement. Huntington continues to offer this widely used feedthrough in the most popular stroke lengths as indicated below.
The VFC Series of feedthroughs features a multi-patented design which includes Rare Earth (Samarium Cobalt) magnets totally encapsulated in a stainless steel housing for UHV use. This series of magnetically coupled transfer devices are more precise and smoother operating than the lower cost Alnico® magnet feedthroughs.
